Today I am going to get back to “domain parking” and how to make money with parked domains. I want to mention an article on domain parking that was in the New York Times, the article compared completely different things, and contained several errors, so much so that the author had to publish another article a few days later to correct these errors. Needless to say the author didn´t seem too happy with the whole situation.
The main theme of the NY Times article is Marchex, the company owns about 200 thousand domains, most of them generic terms, and that recently started making mini-sites out of these previously parked domains.
