The domain name category on Ebay is flooded with thousands of listings containing worthless domains. Many of these listings use misleading titles which makes it very time consuming for buyers to find worthwile domains in the Ebay marketplace. There are quality domain names listed on Ebay but how is a domain buyer supposed to find them easily amongst all that other garbage?

Sorting the auction listings in order of bids received would be a big help but Ebay doesn’t currently provide a way to do this. How about sorting in decending price order? This option usually results in countless pages of over hyped domains with ridiculous starting prices. Anybody interested in SantaClausNorthPole.com (the most famous address on Earth) for $1,346,269? I didn’t think so.

Domain buyers are forced to go through page after page of crappy listings hoping to come across the small minority of auctions that actually contain quality domain names. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a way to quickly locate those one-word dictionary .com’s? How about the valuable 3 letter .com’s and the recently popular 4 letter .com’s which are frequently sold in bulk on Ebay?
