Michelle Miller was one of the first high powered women in the domain world. Michelle helped Buydomains.com grow into a powerhouse before the company was sold off a few years back to NameMedia. A few months back, I meet with Michelle in Washington, Dc. My son was looking at colleges and Michelle was kind enough to share with us her thoughts about University of Maryland, her Alma Mater, where she also played basketball. I could tell then that there was something special between Michelle and her school. When I learned later that she had accepted a position to work within the sports program, I was not surprised. One of her first projects was to get the women’s basketball website redesigned. I was able to look what she has put together and it’s amazing. The site is MarylandWomensBasketball.com. It’s a first class project from a first class person.
