I'm always out looking for the best deals in buying domain names. Most of my domains are registered at www.GoDaddy.com because they present relatively better value in terms of pricing and add-ons. My most recent dot com domain buys though have been made through Yahoo Small Business. I've bought about 5 dot coms through them because they're only $1.99 a pop. Right now, no other domain registrar can beat that pricing for new customer registrations. Ofcourse I had to register a new Yahoo account everytime a buy a new domain through them but it's no big deal. If you want the link for the cheap Yahoo domains, you can contact me at buyer at buymedomains dot com and I'll be more than willing to send it to you. I bookmarked it.

Recently, I've become interested in acquiring other top-level domains like .TV's and .US's but I'm damped by the cost of these domains. An average of $18 to $20 is the damage for these things. Recently though, Godaddy cheap .US domains are now being sold for only $8.99! Check out their banner below.
This is actually the chance I've been waiting for! I've had this great .US domain idea for the longest time and this Godaddy cheap .US domain registration promo is just perfect timing. No other domain registrar can beat that pricing. Just check out the chart above! If you got a .US domain idea now, register it with www.GoDaddy.com to save on over two-thirds of the price.

Is that .US offer still valid? I only saw the regular $12 price. I was thinking of getting some .US's just last night, and was happy when I saw your mention of a price break, but it seems to be over.

Oh, and be sure to transfer those .com's several months before they expire. I have a feeling if they continue the mess they mentioned recently that you will not be happy with the renewal prices. Think NetSol pricing of $30 or so... sad, but true.

I'm checking right now John. I'll be back soon. Thanks.

Yeah, you may want to hold on to those .us domain ideas for now John. I've checked all over and it looks like the promo lapsed already.

But based on experience that 8.99 .us and most other domain promos by godaddy pop-up every now and then. It's part of their ads/promos testing to see which works better.

Keep those domain ideas on paper for now. Thanks.

Thanks, I think I saw it again the other day, but it must have been with WildWest, so maybe I'll set my store up to offer that and buy some. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting the GD Discount Club soon and letting my Wild West lapse as I don't really sell names etc., just got it to get better prices, but the GD club seems to be cheaper. Any way, thanks again.
